Contractors and fish benefit from federal stimulus funds being used on Watauga Creek

A federal economic stimulus grant has partially funded a major stream restoration project that has given several local contractors employment.

The Watauga Restoration Project is restoring fish passage along a tributary of the Little Tennessee River that is located on private property.
