B.S. Forest Management, Univ. of Wis. – Stevens Point 1975. US Army, Fort Carson, Colorado 1976 – 1979 Lieutenant- 4th & 52nd Engineer Battalions. USDA – Forest Service 1979 -1980 Kootenai National Forest, Libby, Montana. Yazoo-Little Tallahatchie Project (Watershed Restoration) Senatobia, Mississippi 1980- 1983. Nantahala National Forest – Highlands Ranger District 1983 – 2007. District Prescriptionist, Silviculturist, Other Resource Assistant Ranger (Fire & Recreation). Retired August 2007.
Married to Linda (Kramer) December 1976. Two sons, Nathan and Paul. 2 Grandchildren (so far).
I have many hobbies, and hope to get to do more of them since I am now retired. They include: Fishing, Hunting, Camping, & Woodworking.
Working for healthy water in the Little Tennessee River basin
